Daniel Martinez Campos entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the age of 68 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Julia Martinez Campos, son Daniel Anthony Campos Jr., parents Anita Martinez Campos and Jeronimo Duran Campos, brothers David Campos, Jesus Campos, sister Petra Ortega. Joe is survived by his daughter Melinda Campos Abrego ( Onesimo V. Abrego); stepchildren Barbie Barba, Leticia Gonzalez ( Fernando Gonzalez); grandchildren Julie Annabel Sena, Daniel Campos III, Onesimo Abrego IV, Klarissa Esperanza Abrego, Armando Daniel Abrego, Shevawn Cervantes, Chelsea Luna; daughter-law Lori Luna; great-grandchildren Daniel Anthony Campos, Abcde Lin Campos; siblings Estella Quinones, Arcelia Martinez, Rosa Campos, Hector Campos. Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart Southside Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at El Carmen Catholic Church with interment to follow at El Carmen Cemetery .
