Cruz M. Martinez, 92, passed away on September 28, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas. Cruz was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 3, 1927 to Maurillo H. and Maria M. Meza. Cruz is preceded by her parents Maurillo H. and Maria M. Meza; sisters Janie T. Pena, Ramona M. Casanova; brothers Felix Meza, Rudy Meza, Jose Medrano. Cruz is survived by her Nephews David Casanova (Gracie), Daniel Casanova (Yolanda); Brother Carlos Meza (Lupe); Numerous great nieces and great nephews; sister in law Belia Meza. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores St. San Antonio, Texas 78214 with a Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. Procession will depart Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church with burial to follow at San Fernando II Cemetery.
