Colleen Sue Kappmeyer entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the age of 77 years.  She was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on September 16, 1943 to Luke James and Luella Gallaghar.  Colleen was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Constance Kelley and Carol Heising.  Colleen is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles E. Kappmeyer Sr.; sons, Charles Kappmeyer Jr. and wife Dona, James Kappmeyer and wife Jacqueline; grandchildren, Charles Kappmeyer III, Cymbrey Kappmeyer, Jordan Kappmeyer; sister, Gacene "Eve" Gilford and husband Bill; brother, Franklin Sparks; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Friday, March 26th from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Graveside services will be held at San Jose Burial Park on Friday, March 26th at 1:30 p.m.
