Clifford "Dooner" Gilbert Allen went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 13, 2014 at the age of 38 years. He worked at Garden Ornamental Designs, Inc. and for Jay's Welding for many years. Dooner loved music, fishing, camping, bar-b-queing and the outdoors. He will be remembered as everyone's friend by all, for always helping and giving. Dooner was preceded in death by his father, Gayle Lee Allen and his grandmother, Harriett Allen. He is survived by his wife, Vickie; their sons, Daniel James, Christopher Gilbert, and Hunter Taylor Allen; mother, Angie Allen; sisters, Amy Hallisey and husband Dan and Ramona Huth and husband Colby; mother-in-law, Rachel Silva; also numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Friday, January 17th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude on Friday evening.
