Clara G. Talamantes, Went into eternal rest on December 29, 2019 at the age of 88. Clara was born on August 12, 1931 in Big Wells, Texas. Clara is preceeded in death by her parents;  Nicolas and Gertrudes Garcia. Husband; Alvaro Talamantes. Son; Henry Talamantes. Sisters; Aurora Salazar (Edward), Maria Garcia. Brother; Augustin Garcia. Left to cherish her memories are her children; Mario Talamantes (Mary), Helen Green, Alfred Talamantes (Paula), Irene Saldivar (Salvador Amador), Roland Talamantes (Rachel). also by 13 Grandchildren, Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Clara had a great passion for her family, especially for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Visitation will begin at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores on Thursday January 2, 2020 from 5pm-9pm with the reciting of the holy rosary at 7pm. Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 3, 2020 with a 10:30am Departure from Southside Funeral Home for a 11:00am Mass of resurrection at St. Clare Catholic Church with interment to follow at First Memorial Park Cemetery.
