Christopher Jay Ransom of San Antonio began his next journey on Friday , July 14 , 2017.

Chris was born on June 17, 1970 to Charles and Molly Ransom in Dallas Texas. He spent much of his life in Houston, moving to San Antonio to pursue other career options.

Chris had a deep love of the Chinese Marital Art Wing Tsun , of which he ach ieve d the 10th rank .  An avid lover of puns and wordplay, he was happiest creating laug ht er among those closest to him. As such, he would l ike us to ask you – did you hear about the graveyard?  People are dying to get in there.  However, per his wishes, he is becoming a tree so that he may stand tall again.

Chris is survi ved by his wife, Grayce ; his father Charles (Marg e ) Ransom of Katy, Texas ; His daughter Alanna Ransom of San Antonio ; H is siblings David (Wendy) Ransom of Beaumont , Texas and Terri Crocker of Albermarle, North Carolina ; His beloved niece Brooke (Josh) Robertson of Lewisville, North Carolina, as wel l as their sons Damari and Kallen ; t wo adored nephews – Ricky Crocker of Charlotte, North Carolina and Blake (Kayla) Crocker of Waxhaw , North Carolina; his Wing Tsun siblings; and a plethora of friends and family.
