Chester Luke Zaiontz went to be with Our Lord and Savior  on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the age of 78 years. Chester was born in Falls City, Texas to Frank and Tekla Zaiontz, Jr., on May 3, 1938. He is survived by his wife; Katherine Zaiontz. Sons; Kenneth Zaiontz, Charles (Tami) Zaiontz, Russell (Mary) Zaiontz, James (Laura) Zaiontz, Grandchildren; Cameron Zaiontz, James Zaiontz, Jr., Christopher Shockey, Cory Shockey, Pete Lucio IV. Great Granddaughter; Estelle, Brothers; Fabian Zaiontz, David (Evangeline) Zaiontz, Tommy (Elaine) Zaiontz, Walter Zaiontz. Chester loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, hunting and lottery scratch off tickets, he also loved watching old western movies and watching his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys play, while his four legged companion Pepper set at his side. Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Mission San Jose 701 E. Pyron Ave San Antonio, Texas, 78214. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. with mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at Fashing Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. in Fashing, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Chester's name can be made to Mission San Jose.
