Carlos S. Campos was born November 4, 1947. He passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the age of 66, with his loving wife of 28 years, Isabel M. Campos, at his bedside. Carlos was a devoted husband, father and step grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father Francisco Campos Sr., and his mother Maria S. Campos, and Lupita R. Campos - stepmother. He leaves behind his daughter: Tammy Campos-Jones & her husband James; son: Donny Campos; 6 brothers, 4 sisters, and several stepchildren. Carlos served in the United States Army 3 years active duty from 1966 to 1969. He also served 1 tour in Vietnam. The viewing will be Tuesday, February 11, 2014, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Southside Funeral Home Chapel, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, TX. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. at Southside Funeral Home Chapel followed with procession to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery for a graveside service with military honors.
