With heavy hearts we announce that our beloved Betty Ruth Fuchs, has entered into her eternal rest on Friday, July 04, 2025, at 97 years of age. Betty was born on March 04, 1928, to her parents Oran and Ethel Seay, in San Antonio, Texas. Betty graduated from Harlandale High School in 1945. Betty was a secretary-treasurer of Insurance Women of San Antonio. Her years of employment included  Loyalty Group Insurance for seven years and Trinity Insurance for Sonny Lew for more than thirty years. She is survived by her son Jeff Fuchs (Sandy), son-in-law Royce Hudgens, stepson Robert Fuchs (Belle), and also, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gus Fuchs, daughter Linda Kay Hudgens, sisters Dorothy Graves (Virgil), and Beatrice Weiss (Reuben); brother Stanley Seay, and nephews Charles Graves, and Raymond Weiss.

A visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 12:00 p.m. a procession will follow to San Jose Burial Park for interment.
