Bernarda Perez entered her eternal resting place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the age of eighty- nine. She was born to parents Hilario Gutierrez and Maria Pesina on August 20, 1935 in Flatonia, Texas.  Bernarda loved watching novelas, listening to Mexican music and Elvis Presley. She was a very good cook and enjoyed spending her time sitting outside on her porch.

Bernarda is survived by her daughter, Melissa Perez; father of her two grandsons, Frank Gallegos Sr.; five grandchildren, Samantha, Sabrina, Frank Jr., Brandon, and Zoey; Great grandchild, Richard; five sisters, Pauline, Lupe, Nana, Connie, and Annie; three brothers, Johnny, Santos, and Tony; special niece, Elizabeth Bernal. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. A specail thanks to her neighbors Rosita and Lydia.

Preceded in death by her husband, Roger Rodriguez Perez; daughter, Grace Perez; step-father, Joe Vega Sr.; brothers, Jessie and Joe Vega;  aunt and uncle, Tomasa Guerrero and Rudy Guerrero; great grandmother, Refugia Pesina; nephew Richard Guerrero.
