Benjamin S. Garza entered into Heaven on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the age of 85. Benjamin was born to Benjamin and Elvira Garza in Monterey, Mexico on October 12, 1931. He is preceded in death by his parents; Son Javier Garza. Benjamin is survived by his loving wife Margarita Garza of sixty years of marriage; Children Benjamin Garza, Gilbert (Shirley) Garza, Laura Garza, Olga (Joe) Lopez, Leticia (Ramiro) Gonzalez Brothers; Roberto Garza, Ramon Garza; Sisters Rosa Maria Pineado, Ofelia Martinez; Eleven Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Southside Funeral Home at 6301 S. Flores St. Benjamin's family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Procession will depart at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
