Arturo Alonzo Diaz, Sr. passed away on November 2, 2018 at the age of 72. He was born to Mariano Torres and Ventura Alonzo on April 21, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by his children Jennifer Coffey and Arturo Diaz, Jr. & wife Michele. He is also survived by his grandchildren Steven, Trevor, A.J., Brian, Dessiree, Caden and Ravenna and 8 great grandchildren as well as his siblings Alfonso A. Diaz, Consuelo Brown, Esperanza Thomas and 1 niece & 1 nephew.

Funeral services will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. His family will be receiving visitors beginning at 8:15am with a chapel service to begin at 10am. A funeral procession will follow to San Fernando Cemetery II for interment, where Navy honors will be rendered in honor of his service to our country.
