Armandina B. Alvarado went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the age of 77 years.  She was born in San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico on March 4, 1939 to David and Perfecta Vera Botello.  Armandina was preceded in death by her husband, Raul F. Alvarado.  She is survived by her children, Juan Alvarado (Rose), Martha Gutierrez (Carlos), and Luis Alvarado; brothers, Rogelio Botello (Oralia), Carlos Botello, Mario Botello, David Botello; sisters, Antonia Blanco, Gloria, Dora, Rosa Armandina, Maria Guadalupe, and Herminia Botello; brother-in-law, Ricardo Alvarado; sisters-in-law, Maria Soto (Guillermo), Avelina Barrera (Santos), Veva Menchaca (Manuel), Manuela Alvarado; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, February 2nd from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 3rd for services to be held at Bethany First Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in Frist Memorial Park Cemetery.
