Apolonio S. Hernandez went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the age of 92 years. He was born in Hondo, Texas on February 9, 1923 to Valente and Teresa Sauceda Hernandez. Apolonio enjoyed gardening, traveling on the open road and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Hernandez in 2002; mother of some of his children, Feliz Tonsic; children, Andrew Hernandez and Mary Luser and his parents. Apolonio is survived by his children, Cynthia Hernandez, Adrian Hernandez, Maria Steldt, and Marcella Hernandez; brother, Alfredo Hernandez; sister, Ramona Cadriel; numerous grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, September 24th from 6:00 p.m.. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, September 28th at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
