Antonia Martinez, went into eternal rest with our Lord Jesus Christ on May 9, 2022. Antonia was born on July 3, 1939.  Antonia is preceded in death by her parents Vicente and Felicitas Martinez. Antonia is survived by her daughter Mary Martinez (Peter Polanco); grandchildren Keith Michael Dorris Jr., Justin Vincent Dorris, Chloe Janely Polanco, Riley Storm Polanco; siblings Felicitas Martinez, Mary Orosco, Anita Martinez (Gilbert Saucedo), Rosalinda Mendez (Gilbert Mendez), Frances Villapando (Cipriano), Eva Salazar (Frank Salazar), David Martinez (Mary Ann Martinez), Vicente Martinez II (Theresa Martinez), Catarino Martinez (Annie Martinez). Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She loved to sew and cook, listening to Christian music was a very religious person.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores St., San Antonio, Texas 78214 with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart Southside Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2022 for a Funeral Mass of Christin burial at 10:00 a.m. at  San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church with interment to follow at Antonia's final resting place at San Fernando Cemetery II.
