Amy Michelle Ralphs Yako has once again gone onto another adventure, this time with her Heavenly Father. She passed away peacefully, after battling a long illness on Jan. 26, 2016 at Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio Texas. She was surrounded by her loving family.  Amy was the first of six children born in Provo, Utah to Robert and Nancy Ralphs. She grew up and graduated in American Falls, Idaho. Throughout school, she loved participating in cheerleading, BPA, DECA, track, drama and National Honor Society.

Age 19 she enlisted in the United States Army. She was assigned to numerous units including the 82 nd Airborne Division.  Her 22 yrs. of service encompassed tours across the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. While serving in the military, she met and married the love of her life James H. Yako on Feb. 2, 1999. They have three children Jessica, Ian and Kailyn.  Together, they have traveled and seen the world with visits to England, Scotland, Germany, Italy, France, Czechoslovakia and many more.  Amy was an amazing wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend.  She has given all who knew her an example of compassion, kindness and true friendship. Her uplifting calming presence and laughter brought peace to all of those who came into contact with her.
