Amparo Salinas Amaton went into eternal rest to be with our lord and savior on March 25, 2020 at the age of 70. Amparo is preceded in death by her parents Cipriano and Dolores Salinas. Brother; Omero Salinas who are embracing her in the gates of heaven. Amparo is survived by her children Salvador Amaton (Lorraine), Diane Saucedo (Joe), Frank Amaton (Trisha), George Amaton (Ashley), Laura Ruiz (Michael). Brothers; Marco Antonio, Jose, Manuel. Sisters; Englantina, Rosantina, Ernestina, Margarita, Maria Elena, Carolina, Maria de los angeles, Guadalupe. 19 Grandchildren 2 Great-Grandchildren. Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Amparo was a member of Garnett Baptist Church and South San Mexican Baptist Church. Visitation will begin on Sunday March 29, 2020 at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores. San Antonio, Texas 78214, from 4pm-6pm with a prayer service from 6pm-8pm. Visitation for that evening will conclude at 8pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday March 30, 2020 with a 11:45am departure from Southside Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park. Amparo will be deeply miss by all who knew and loved her.
