Amelia Duarte went into her eternal rest on March 22, 2024 at the age of ninety-three. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 12, 1931 to parents Andres Garza and Trinidad Botello. She will be remembered as someone with a great personality who enjoyed speaking to everyone. She was sweet, kind and a very giving person. She had a love for all animals, especially dogs.

Amelia is survived by her children; Linda D. Valdez, Robert Duarte Jr., Lucille Fierros, Marian Guerrero, and Nancy Duarte. Along with ten grandchildren and numerous family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Robert G. Duarte, daughter; Rosemary Camacho, grandson; Philip Valdez.
