Amalia Flores Lozano went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the age of 88 years. She was born in Floresville, Texas on November 7, 1928 to Jesus and Felipa Flores. Amalia enjoyed working in the church, where she held numerous positions. She loved praying and reading the Bible. Amalia especially loved taking care of all of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Luis G. Lozano, and her son, David Lozano. Amalia is survived by her children, Esther L. Hernandez, Argelia L. Gaon; Luis F. Lozano Jr. and wife Sandra, George F. Lozano and wife Martha; brothers, Abelardo and Arroldo Flores; sister, Adelfa Gonzalez; grandchildren, Maxine, Henry, Laura, Adam, David, Cassandra, Christian, Alyssa, Ashlyn, Alexis, and Joshua; great grandchildren, Devon, Jake, Kali-Pariz, Brooklyn, Amaya, Uriah, Alijah, Malkiya, Morgan, Aiden, and Joshua Isaiah. Visitation will be held at Templo Bethel, 326 Pleasanton RD., on Sunday, January 15 th beginning at 5:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Templo Bethel on Monday, January 16 th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
