Alfonso C. Puente, 85, passed away on June 26, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.

Alfonso is preceded in death by his parents Victor and Hortencia Puente; son Martin Puente; daughter Alice G. Puente; brother Victor Puente.

Alfonso is survived by his wife of fifty four years of marriage Alice Puente; children Rosalie, Debra, Arleen Castillo, Alfonso C. Puente, Jr. (Dani), Annette Luna (Luis), Jesse Puente; sister Alice Ramos (Samuel); grandchildren William, Martha, Salvador, Alexis, Alexander, Alfonso, Luis Jr., Elizabeth, Marilyn, Jesse Jr., Vanessa; eleven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and one nephew.

Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at Southside Funeral Home, 6301 S. Flores Street, San Antonio, Texas 78214. A Rosary will be held at 5:00 p.m. Services will conclude after the Rosary. Arrangements are entrusted to Southside Funeral Home. A reception will be held after the rosary at Robert Cuellar Hall at 1027 W Theo Ave.
