Alfonso Carrillo
Jr.
Aug 31, 1972 — Jun 2, 2022
We are devastated to announce the passing of our beloved brother; Alfonso "Fonzie" Carrillo Jr. He was a caring and devoted brother, uncle, son, godfather, and friend. He went into eternal rest unexpectedly on June 2, 2022 at the age of 49. He was born on August 31, 1972. Alfonso "Fonzie" Carrillo Jr was born to Alfonso and Maria Esther Carrillo Sr. in Pierdras Negras Coah, Mexico. He spent his childhood surrounded by five adoring brothers and two adoring sisters. He lived life by his own rules, but he would give his shirt off his back to help anyone in need. Our brother had the biggest heart forever grateful for everything he did for all the family, at one time or another. He helped us all through some difficult times in each and everyone's life he came in contact with. Our brother Fonzie was always a jokester. He loved telling jokes. We seriously thought he would become a professional comedian. He was also good at delivering a punch line. He always had good comebacks. "Fonzie" was one in a million. He will be truly missed by entire family as he touched our lives in so many ways. Alfonso "Fonzie' Carrillo Jr. will always be remembered as a loving, caring, devoted brother, uncle and son. Alfonso is survived by his loving parents: Alfonso and Maria Esther Carrillo Sr., Brothers: Mike Carrillo (Maria), Luis Carrillo (Rachel), Tony Carrillo (Lori), Rene Carrillo (Sandy), Ernest Carrillo (Judy). Sisters: Cynthia Carrillo, Paula (Sergio), Nieces and nephews: Luigi, Tanya, Mitchel, Priscilla, Rachel and James Fuller, Melanie, Logan, Alexandra and Domingo, Connie Carrillo, Freya, Agapito Carrillo, Abigail, Johnny, Chelsea, Gio, Anthony, Jay, Christian, Amber, Troy, Erica, Angela, Rene Jr., Vincent, Jack. Numerus other relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 8, 2022 at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores San Antonio, Texas 78214 from 5pm-9pm with the recitation on the Holy Rosary at 7pm. We will be departing Southside Funeral Home at 10:30am on Thursday June 9th, 2022 for a 11am graveside service to Fonzie's final resting place, San Jose Burial Park.
