Alejandro F. Lara, Sr., born May 3, 1934 in Mirando City, Texas entered Heaven on September 9, 2018. He is joined in Heaven by his parents Romulo Lara and Petra Lara; his son Alejandro Lara, Jr., his siblings Asencion, Joe, Luis, Romulo, Mathias, Lupe, Virgie and Consuelo; son-in-law David Eric Nava. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Teresa S. Lara; Children Felipe Lara and Amelinda Margot Nava. Grandchildren Valerie, Phillip, Nathan, Natalie and Teresa; Great-Grandchildren Zacharias and Jestiny; sister Minerva Ramirez; Numerous nieces and nephews Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Thursday, September 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, September 14th for a 10:00 a.m. mass to be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.
