Adalberta Amaya went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the age of 57 years.  She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 3, 1964.  Adalberta is preceded in death by her brother Matthew Amaya. She is survived by her children Aaron Amaya, Andrea Amaya (Victoria Amaya); grandchildren Aloisa Amaya, Faith Lynn Galindo; parents Juan and Eloisa B. Amaya; siblings Magdalena Amaya, Amalia Amaya, Leticia Amay, Juan Martin Amaya, Armando Amaya, Gustavo Amaya, Timothy John Amaya;  numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Sunday, October 17 ^th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, October 18 ^th at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South.
