Abel M. Gonzales died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on November 4, 2021 at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Diana Gonzales; parents Rev. Manuel C. and Lupe Gonzales; brother Manuel Gonzales. He is survived by sons, Abel M. Gonzales Jr. and Michael Gonzales; Grandsons, Luke and Jake Gonzales. Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Southside Funeral Home 6301 S. Flores St, from 6-9 PM followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Templo Bethel, 326 Pleasanton Rd., interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park in San Antonio, TX.
