A J Roe went into eternal rest on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 88 years old. A J was born on March 30, 1936, to his parents Robert and Ora Roe in Sweetwater, Texas. He enjoyed playing country and western music. He was also very fond of classical cars. He is survived by his three children: James A. Roe, Beverly Benham (David), and Tim Roe (Sandy), seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, sister Shirlene Roe Hernandez, and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Roe, children Vicky Roe, Charles Dills, and Kathy Roe, daughter-in-law Maria Armijo-Roe, siblings Wanda Parton, Nita Roe, and Tooti Roe.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Southside Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow to Mission Burial Park South.
