Joe Luis Flores, born in San Antonio on January 30, 1959, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the age of 53 years. Joe enjoyed listening to music and taking care of animals. He was preceded in death by his father, Napoleon T. Flores. Joe is survived by his daughter, Vanessa Flores Peterson and husband Tyler; his mother, Adela Flores; brother, Napoleon Flores, Jr. ( Rosemary); sisters, Stella Quiroz, Loretta Acebedo (Richard), and Nancy Campos (Ron); grandchildren, Larissa, Santino, and Christano, and his best friend Omar Vargas. Visitation will be held at Southside Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 17th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with services to be held at 7:00 p.m. As per Joe’s wishes he will be cremated.
